Brief Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I Join?
- Chapter Membership costs $5/year. You can join when you come to a chapter meeting.
- Parent Organization Membership is required for chapter membership. It costs $25/year for membership and access to an online version of their semi-monthly magazine, the Fruit Gardener. You can also get a hardcopy of the magazine mailed to you with a $36/year membership. The magazine is easily worth the annual dues alone.
Do I have to be a member to come to a chapter meeting?
No, but it is encouraged, since the small amount of money that we get from chapter dues helps us get excellent speakers and keeps the organization going.
I don’t know much about growing fruit trees yet. Will the meetings still be beneficial for me to come to?
There is no better way to get started than to come and experience the community, friendship, and enthusiasm of others in the chapter.
I do not live close by. Is there a chapter near me?
Take a look at the list of chapters at the CRFG website. There may be one closer to you. Whichever one you go to, you’ll find knowledgeable people who are passionate about growing fruit.
